Children sponsoship

1. Introduction

This initiative is dedicated to supporting school-aged children from the most vulnerable backgrounds —
including orphans, those from poor households, and children whose parents are unable to work.
Through collaboration with local partners such as the Women’s Union, Veterans’ Association, and commune authorities,
the project provides essential assistance to ensure that every child has the basic conditions needed to attend school.

Support includes school uniforms, learning materials, and modest monthly allowances.
All funding and implementation activities are coordinated and monitored by the Local Working Group,
ensuring transparency and responsiveness to each community’s specific needs.

2. Objective

The project’s overarching goal is to provide sustainable support that enables disadvantaged children to continue
their education from primary school through to university or vocational training.
By focusing on the communes of Phu Tho Province, OKF aims to create a nurturing learning environment for children facing hardship.

Year after year, OKF remains committed to ensuring that each sponsored child receives the most fundamental educational support —
from school fees and books to nutritional supplements — so they can study with dignity and hope.

3. Key Results

  • 150 children have received consistent, long-term support throughout their primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary education.
  • 9 students have successfully completed their studies and graduated.
  • The program has helped cultivate a strong community spirit — inspiring children and families to overcome adversity and pursue learning as a path to growth and empowerment.

“Education gives every child the power to rise above hardship and build a better future.”
